Tonight at PARISOMA in San Francisco: Hello Advertising, Meet Big Data

Over the past decade advertising around the world has quietly been turning into a business of big data.

It began with Google Adwords allowing anyone to easily purchase targeted inventory on keywords people were searching for.  But as with most things digital, it soon spiraled from there into a totally new world - in this case, a world where things like real-time bidding, automated buying via ad exchanges, and live, constantly updated data give businesses better customer insights, better targeting, and ever-better ability to reach the right audience at any time on a variety of devices.

With all of this innovation now coming together, we find ourselves on the brink of a new age in advertising. As our own Cyril Vart pointed out in his recent post "Smart Advertising Is Finally On Its Way", that is a good thing for everyone.

And in this new age, data is king.

Tonight, March 6th at our San Francisco-based open incubator PARISOMA, we are hosting a party to examine and celebrate this new intersection of big data and advertising.

Called Hello Advertising, Meet Big Data, the event will be an action-packed evening of lightning talks, product demos and socializing between entrepreneurs, members of the advertising community, and investors interested in this space.  Some of the hottest startups in the adtech space will be in attendance, including:

Triggit, the retargeting startup that has seen revenues grow by 300% in five months.

GoodData, who recently landed $25m from investors for their new solution transforming how advertisers learn from their data.

• Onavo, the company building the first mobile market intelligence service based on user engagement data for 90 countries around the world.

...and quite a few more (14 startups in all).

The event starts at 6 PM and goes until 9.  If you're in San Francisco, we'd love to see you there.  Sign up at eventbrite,  drop on by, and take part in the fun.
