Un des plus anciens membres de la team faberNovel est un inconditionnel des singes. Il était donc naturel de faire un geste envers ce noble animal.

Voici donc Mr Bernie, qui vit dans son habitat naturel : les forêts de Bornéo. Petit portrait d'une rockstar.

Mr. Bernie is a chilled-out, sociable little orangutan with a big Buddha belly, and moon-like eyes which seem to peer down from above, reflecting the light like droplets of rain. Whilst some of the other orangutans playfully slap legs, Mr. Bernie is a delight, and after scaling through the trees, he often returns to his care-givers simply for a hug. A curious little fellow, he enjoys exploring the tall, towering trees, wisely watching out for the thinner branches! The other orangutans seem to like him, and although still tiny, Bernie intently watches the older orangutans, gracefully mimicking them as they as they perform roly polies across the forest carpet. After an adventurous morning, Mr. Bernie aften grows tired, and seems content relaxing in his care-givers' arms with his cute pot belly on full display, quietly observing the forest and the other orangutans. Occasionally he enjoys reaching out to pull a branch, popping the leaves into his mouth, even the care-givers' fingers!
