During the "30 Glorieuses" (1945-1975), you could always here the tagline, "In France we don’t have oil but we have ideas." This is still true in 2011 with digital innovation booming in France. faberNovel is partnering with Gaité Lyrique, CAPA, OWNI, Antoine Lefébure and media partner Rue89 to suggest new ways to deal with innovation in France.
The project’s main goal is to promote innovation
in France by initiating debates between different players in the French
innovation scene. Whether aspiring pioneers or serial entrepreneurs, these
players are led by faberNovel to revisit different French myths, starting with
the history of “Radios Libres” (Community radios). The overall mission is to
flood the innovation ecosystem with optimism.
faberNovel’s work
We implemented a collaborative and transmedia project. Since faberNovel wants it to be global, the project is both online and offline.
The project has two components:
Events
- Several talks are planned at “Gaité Lyrique”, bringing together experts and innovators with different backgrounds. These talks take place every 2 months, last for 2 hours each and are broadcasted live on Agoroom.com for everyone to participate.
Online presence
- a collaborative blog with quality content, containing thoughts on innovation and the different issues it tackles.
- mini-shows and exclusive interviews produced by CAPA Agency, whose goal is to provide quality transmedia content, and host as many speakers as possible on the subject.
- an ongoing debate about innovation on social networks though Facebook (fan page) and Twitter (@TjsPasDePetrole twitter account with the #TPDP hashtag). The events at Gait Lyrique’s will bring a virtual debate to the real world, offering many networking opportunities.
