The world of conference and sponsored events has not started its digital and social transition yet.

Conferences are still too often conducted like a lecture in front of students - people from the panel speak successively, while the audience waits until the Q&A session to have a say.

Members of the audience want to react to the event in live, and organizers want to feel the pulse - the challenge is to have an « augmented » conference.

Agowall is faberNovel’s solution to broadcast messages on a screen that is visible to anybody in the conference room, attendees and panel alike:

·      It can retrieve messages sent by the audience and the panel on Twitter, SMS and email, without having them install any applications.

·      Its powerful moderation system, which is very easy to use, enables the organizer to finely handle what is broadcasted (filter messages, get back to specific messages).

·      Totally based on Web-technologies, it just requires an internet connection and a Web browser to work.

Agowall can work on automatic mode, with no need for a moderator - in entrance halls and reception people can see the buzz about the event or the company.

Achievements

Agowall has been deployed on the following occasions:

·      It continuously runs in the entrance hall of faberNovel’s office in Paris, where a TV screen shows Twitter activity about the company.

·      For the SFR Player 2011 event, it has been used in conference cycles gathering a couple of hundred attendees, for receptions and as a Twitter pedagogical demonstrator for three weeks continuously.

·      The Rencontres Cap Digital and the Personal Democracy Forum which took place in the 104 in Paris in 2011, simultaneously brought together for a full day more than 600 attendees who enjoyed the Agowall experience.

·      The coworking space pariSoma in San Francisco uses Agowall for its events.
