faberNovel Prototype assists contracting authorities (in expressing their needs) or acts as project manager (up to the implementation phase).

faberNovel opened an office in San Francisco, at the heart of the digital capital, as is Paris in France. We are in constant contact with the avant-garde ideas arising from ICT, design, and clean technologies.
Very much implicated in reaching “best practices”, we have created PariSoMa, an open co-working space based in South of Market.
The concept of an open space is not a new one, but co-working goes even further. It is a movement meant to create informal work spots in the spirit of a café in order to encourage professional interactivity. At the heart of the project is generating a new collective dynamic making is easier to share ideas, knowledge and skills. It implies more than sharing costs or infrastructures, co-working enables a true cooperation tending towards potential synergy and collective innovation.
More specifically, PariSoMa expands over 2000 square feet, and offers many amenities for all to use: conference room, Internet access, fax, kitchen and relaxation room. It may also be used as a private event venue.
NWe also organize monthly meetings on music and technological themes called the Musi2K Talks.

Bridge
faberNovel wishes to create a bridge between Paris and San Francisco in order to allow both companies from each side of the Atlantic to export their technologies and products so they can benefit from each other’s networks of partners.

Neo Freerunner is the first GSM/GPRS mobile compatible with Openmoko, a free operating system designed for smartphones.
faberNovel is one of five North American companies that distribute this first and eagerly expected Open Source smartphone.
The Neo Freerunner is equipped with full hardware features (GSM.GPRS, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, accelerometer, etc.) opening the way for an almost unlimited range of software solutions and services.
This smartphone is meant for well-informed users who should be acquainted with GNU /Linux environments for optimal use of the product. Software provided with the phone is still quite basic at the moment although that should evolve rapidly. A passionate and active community of user-developers should very soon come up with a vast variety of additional applications.
