Stéphane Distinguin graduated from ESCP Europe in 1997 and joined Deloitte & Touche. In 1999 he participated in the creation of Up&Up, an early stage investment fund. In 2003, he created faberNovel.



Clement Alteresco holds a Master's in Innovation Management from PARIS IX DAUPHINE University
Clément was faberNovel’s first employee in 2003 and he cofounded Digitick in 2004. He became COO and partner of faberNovel in 2006, and since 2009, he has been leading faberNovel’s activities in San Francisco.
He launched pariSoma, one of San Francisco’s first co-working spaces, as well as www.shareyouroffice.com. He also developed faberNovel’s activities in the Valley.
Clément comes from an international culture, (he speaks French, English and Spanish) and is entrepreneur minded. He is particularly interested in the influence of technology on the future of work.

Paul has a diploma from Supélec, and is a team-building manager. He is also in charge of supporting large companies on innovative projects, such as those that include prototyping.
Two of the key projects Paul has led are the AlloCyclo, which provides technology support for the product “Public Bicycle Service” for TRANSDEV, and Autolib, which lends strategic support and project management assistance to the bid of the consortium RATP-SNCF-AVIS-VINCI. Paul also works on projects for SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and LYONNAISE DES EAUX to better manage the consumption of utilities.
Paul is also a co-founder and treasurer for "Clean Tuesday”, an association that brings together the people involved in clean or green technologies for monthly meetings.

Sabrina has a European Jurist degree from Paris XII University and a Master’s in European Business from ESCP Europe. She spent five years working for the Buongiorno Group in London, then in Paris. During her time there, she worked as Business Development Manager, Production Director and Marketing Director France and MENA, designing and managing services for major Telcos in France (Orange France, SFR), Switzerland (Swisscom) and Morocco (Maroc Telecom).
She spent another year at Novedia Group where, as Strategic Marketing Manager, she was in charge of developing new mobile service offers. Finally, she joined faberNovel’s team in February 2008 to occupy the company’s first Marketing & Communications position.
Now, as Company Secretary she also deals with Legal issues and Human Capital management.

Arnaud Joubay graduated from Supélec with a major in Computer Science. After working for 2 and a half years as a financial auditor at Mazars on projects for major companies in the industry, banking and insurance sectors, he joined faberNovel in 2007 in the role of Chief Financial Officer, for faberNovel and its subsidiaries.
Since 2009, he has kept some of his financial and administrative duties from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where he set up a partnership with a local start-up, that he supports while being involved in web and mobile projects. With this start-up he co-funded the first Mobile Dev Camp, a free, annual event for mobile developers in Vietnam, which aims at fostering innovation and growing the Mobile Dev community. A third camp is due to be held in fall 2011.

Marie-Caroline holds an MSc from Imperial College of London and Supélec, and is now a Partner at faberNovel.
For 6 years, she was responsible for marketing, launching and piloting innovative projects and internal and external research efforts, and implementing strategic management for growth. She contributed to the filing of several patents. Her main research topics are mobility, culture and digital services.
Marie Caroline is a Board Member for Applidium - a subsidiary responsible for developing and publishing mobile applications. She is also on the Board of Silicon Sentier- the association behind projects such as La Cantine (the first collaborative coworking space) and Le Camping (a startup accelerator). Marie Caroline is a volunteer Mentor for Le Camping.

Pierre-Yves gained initial experience in the seed capital sector and the consulting industry at Roland Berger, before joining faberNovel in 2005 to set up its strategic and organizational branch.
In 2007, Pierre-Yves founded the French Chapter of Social Media Club - an international think-tank dedicated to the social media industry, which now has over 200 professionals in France as its members.
In 2009, Pierre-Yves co-founded PINk, faberNovel’s private equity firm, of which he is currently the CEO.
Pierre-Yves is also the Co-founder and Managing Editor of Sarellinet, a professional newsletter dedicated to the online media and communication industry.
Pierre-Yves graduated from HEC Paris with a major in Strategic Management.

Benoit graduated from the Saint Luc Institute in Brussels with an Applied Arts degree (highest distinction) in 1997. He was also awarded a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (with honors) from the University of Paris VIII in 2000 and a Diploma in Information Communication, advertising option from IUT René Descartes Paris VII. Benoit began his career as a graphic designer / freelance illustrator in 1998 at the Maison des Artistes.
he joined faberNovel in 2003 as Artistic Director. He oversees the creative team - designers, and videographers - and is responsible for sourcing creative providers in the "visual" field.
He is also responsible for the final minutes of client projects, like the multi award-winning digital experience Monet 2010. He controlled and constructed the identity of all internal and excubation projects of faberNovel like Parisoma, Agoroom, af83, Barcamp etc.

Cyril Vart, a technology enthusiast, started his career in 1982, developing databases in the video game industry. He then specialized in product management and marketing, and worked with companies such as Evolution France, IBM, and Lotus Development. In 1994, he was hired as Senior Product Director by Lotus Development Corp (Boston, MA) and then in 1996, AltaVista Search made him its Marketing Director. Afterwards, he joined Ziff Davies Inc until he returned to France in 1999 to become the Wanadoo Portal’s VP of Strategy and Marketing.
Before joining faberNovel in June 2008, he spent four years as the VP of Development in EMAP Pic., a leading consumer magazine publisher. At faberNovel, he is both a Partner and VP of Strategy and Development. Thus, he is in charge of faberNovel’s corporate development and strategy, and is responsible for managing strategic consulting projects including business analysis and planning, strategic marketing, corporate planning etc.

Maxime Armand holds a Masters from French engineering school Télécom Bretagne and a Master’s degree in Urban Services Engineering from Sciences Po Rennes.
After a first experience in bid management for Alcatel-lucent, he works in Mexico for SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT “Water for All” Program, promoting access to water and sanitation to growing urban low income communities.
Back in France, he joins Ecomouv team and is involved, as a system engineer, in the implementation of the HGV eco-tax collection system, one of the main project of the French Grenelle de l’Environnement.
Since 2012, as a Project Manager for faberNovel Prototyping department, his mission now covers design, technical & functional specifications, project implementation.

Claire graduated with a BTS in Visual Communication from the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres (Applied Arts school). She pursued her studies at Université Paris VIII with an Information and Communications Licence and a Master in Digital creation and publishing.
Claire joined faberNovel as a Junior Art Director in August 2012, following up a 6 months internship. She is involved in every step of the Creative Direction: developing and refining guidelines and visual identity for client projects, assisting project managers in designing for the web, and creating mock-ups for websites and print projects.
She has been working on several projects, including the Suez Environnement showroom.



Baptiste Benezet joined faberNovel in late 2009 with two tasks: to structure Mobile app publishing activity and to perform R&D project management.
The mobile app business was transferred into Applidium, a subsidiary of faberNovel that Baptiste manages as CEO and Partner. In addition, Baptiste runs Products & Prototypes (P&P) business unit, which develops the technological activities of faberNovel. Their main area of research is corporate life and its associated tools.
Before this, Baptiste worked as a product manager for Baracoda, and was in charge of user-oriented services and products built from audio and radio platforms (wifi internet radio, web & mobile apps).
Baptiste is a graduate from Supélec and Georgia Tech (Atlanta).



After some consulting experience for a start-up and a year working freelance, she built up experience in the new forms of mobility and communications. Elodie joined faberNovel in January 2010 as a designer.
She identifies user needs, spots potential new uses, and designs Services. Her main role is to monitor the coherence of the user experience, while formalizing it. She has a user centric approach, which she applies to all her projects, whatever the industry, and she grounds her work on a methodology which combines field observations, creativity and formalization phases. At faberNovel, Elodie works on projects like Autolib’ and on numerous innovation projects for big companies (Essilor, Cortal), national companies (Railtime, france télévisions) and international companies (CoVision). Elodie is also head of the creative team at faberNovel.

Mathilde holds a Master in Management degree from ESCP Europe, where she majored in Innovation Marketing & Management. Her arts background also allowed her to be admitted to the Paris Ecole normale supérieure, where she studied geography and geopolitics.
After an internship at the Caisse des Dépôts Head Management Office, Mathilde worked on researching and developing diplomatic cables, organizing French officials’ visits and improving web communication for the French Embassy in Lebanon. At faberNovel, she started out writing for and marketing digitalTrends ; Mathilde also helped launch faberNovel’s blog and designing faberNovel’s presence as a patron of TEDxParis 2011.
A member of the sales team since September 2011, Mathilde participates in pre-sales relations and ensures projects kick off well.

with Tongji School
of Economics and Management in Shanghai.
Claire joined faberNovel in January 2013 as Junior Project
Analyst. She works on strategic recommendations during launch phase of
projects, on the design of services and their monetization.
Among others projects, Claire worked on a benchmark and a prospective study on the digital city of
the future for Manche Numérique. She also analyzed the opportunities of communities for Edenred and conceived the digital strategy of Rmn-GP.
Before joining faberNovel, Claire worked at Sociabliz, a digital marketing agency, working with big companies on their use of social media. Then she joined the marketing team of SFR, and later the strategy department where she realised several studies on strategic issues and business plans.

Clément has worked on an
Open Data project for the RATP (Paris subway). He also worked on a
benchmark of services prior to the conception of an online platform for a
company in the retail sector.
Before joining faberNovel, Clément worked on a 4-months project to write a business plan for an extensive French association fighting against excessive debt for individuals, CRESUS. He also realized a 2-months project on the Financial Rating agencies.

She started in the Human Resources Department of a construction company before spending two years at the JCDecaux Group in London (Marketing / Events) and Paris (DG Trade & Marketing).
She the managed a dozen apartments for My Flat in Paris before becoming a Management Assistant at Atlantic Intelligence; finally, she worked as a Client Project Officer at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Maxime Coupez graduated from Ecole des Mines de Paris.
As an intern, he worked in a Saint-Gobain ceramics factory in Beijing. He then worked as a market strategy analyst for Sotheby’s, and was involved in the launch of FID, an innovative annual contemporary art fair.
In 2009, he joined faberNovel to participate in the launch of digitalTrends, a B2B business intelligence service dedicated to high-level managers willing to develop their activity on the web and mobile devices. He was the editorial director of digitalTrends until 2011, when he joined the “Prototype department”.
He now works as a Project Manager, mainly on projects involving the design and development of new services in the domains of transportation, B2B services, entertainment and sports.

Adrien Delepelaire holds a Master Degree from French engineering school Ecole Polytechnique and a Master in Innovation and Design Thinking from Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech in partnership with Stanford University.
After a 6 months internship, Adrien joins faberNovel in February 2013 as a Project Manager. His missions cover strategic recommendations, marketing positioning, benchmarks and business plans ; but also design projects such as conception of touch table applications for corporate clients.

Following 2 years as software analyst and developer for Setec Sante to setup a healthcare CRM software (VB, Oracle), Aurelien joined Lycos Europe as Software engineer in the hosting division, where he worked on numerous new services development projects (centralized signup, blog platform, R&D…).
In 2005, he develops and architects the DailyMotion.com platform, then in 2007 he works for Netvibes as lead designer and developer of Netvibe’s Zend framework, before managing the Mixtheweb.com project for Mist Technologies.
Before joining faberNovel in 2011, he co-founded and managed the OWNI.fr platform, and created the aaaliens.com website.
After he studied product design at Sheffield Hallam University in England and obtained his Bachelor of
Art, he decided to follow an interaction
design master in L’école de design Nantes Atlantique.
Guillaume is now an industrial and interactive
designer.
He joined faberNovel to work as a Junior Project Designer, mainly on connected devices, User Experience and User Interface design.

Tiago graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A in International Business.
Prior to joining faberNovel, Tiago worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine, teaching project management in support of democratization. He also completed internships working on language education in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and microfinance in Cartagena, Colombia.
Tiago joined faberNovel in San Francisco in 2012 to work on digital strategy development, and has contributed to projects related to innovation in large organizations, user-centered design, and transportation. As a project manager and mobility analyst, he dives deep into clients' businesses and coordinates diverse, international teams to develop concrete paths to innovation.

Morgan holds a BTS (higher education technical diploma) in audiovisual arts and specializes in editing and postproduction. He also masters the entire audiovisual production chain (shooting, capturing, editing of video and audio footage, compositing, effects, encoding and authoring).
In 2008, he released the DVD Komball "the game", after which he became a director at the local web TV station QNTV, before joining faberNovel in December 2009. Since then, he has produced various audiovisual creations in diverse and innovative styles, to match the nature of the projects that have been entrusted to him.

Graphist since 2009, Anne-Audrey graduated from the University of Paris VIII, in Saint Denis, she holds a Master Degree in "Digital Design and Publishing".
In September 2012, Anne-Audrey joined faberNovel as a junior art director in the creative team.
She has worked with faberNovel's team ever since. She produces graphic realizations to meet the client's needs and also to conceive internal and external communication visuals for faberNovel.

Marion Guériot graduated from ESCP Europe Business School. She holds a master's degree in management with a specialization in Entrepreneurship.
After an experience at ESCP Europe Consulting, the junior consulting association of her school, Marion spent one year at Canal Plus Overseas, the first French group operating in pay TV, working in marketing, strategy, and competitive analysis for the Caribbean, African, Polish, Vietnamese and new targeted foreign markets of the company.
Among the "Analyze" team in faberNovel, Marion works on strategic recommendations during launching phases of projects, on the realization of benchmarks and field observations, and on business plans.

His main role within faberNovel is the design and writing of technical and functional specifications for web and mobile applications, the follow-up of mobile and web developments and the Customer's requirement analysis on various projects.

Anselme
graduated from EMLyon Business School, where he
specialized in entrepreneurship and innovation management.
Anselme has been working with
faberNovel since September 2012. As a Project Analyst, he works on strategic recommendations during
the launch phase of projects, as well as on designing services and
their monetization.
Among other projects, Anselme worked on defining the marketing and commercial strategy of a new French player in data management, conducting a market analysis on online video for Lagardere Unlimited, and realizing a notebook about the 10 major trends of digital radio for SNCF.
Before joining faberNovel, Anselme
worked at the Strategic Department of FNAC,
where he took part in M&A operations, and realized several strategic
studies. Thus, he became acquainted with innovative subjects like the
crowdfunding system, eBook, and online music. He also worked as a Business
Analyst for a Chinese mobile app publisher in Shanghai, and as well in Altime
Associates (management consulting), after a first entrepreneurship experience
in B2C services.

Guillaume Ladvie graduated from CELSA La Sorbonne where he specialized in digital communication strategies.
After a first position as an editor and community manager for the music streaming website JIWA, Guillaume joined Happy Fannie, a web production company, where he worked as a community manager and junior experience designer on a transmedia project and an ARG. Then he joined faberNovel for a graduate internship as assistant communications manager, before being hired in September 2011.
He is in charge of community management, PR, partnerships and events. In addition, he is involved in various customer projects concerning communication issues.

Axel Le Pennec graduated from Ecole des Mines in Saint-Etienne.
He worked as an intern for four months in the mechanical department of AREVA NP in Germany. As a student at the Ecole des Mines, he enrolled in Industrial Design and Engineering and specialized in Innovative Project Management.
He joined faberNovel in March 2011 within the « Analyze » department. He supported international companies in the definition of their online strategy and worked in various domains such as medias, social networks, e-commerce and the Amazon public study. He was also responsible for publishing articles on faberNovel’s blog related to innovation, new technologies, web and entrepreneurship. Since October 2011, he has been working as a Junior Project Manager. He assists project managers in the design and development of innovative projects and services, from idea to market.

Maxime Leroy graduated from L'École de design Nantes Atlantique and holds a Master degree in Interaction Design. He co-founded and directed We are doers: a non-profit promoting social and sustainable innovation to design students and companies.
Prior to joining faberNovel as Project Manager in 2012, he studied Service Design at Parsons The New School for Design in New York, as Assistant of the DESIS Lab.
Being part of the design team, Maxime observes and identifies user behaviours with design ethnography methods. A solid ground to design and prototype better services experience.
Maxime is the Director of Collaborative Cities, a web documentary exploring the business models of the sharing economy services by interviewing their creators and users in 12 cities across the world.

Karla Macedo is a graduate of The Art Institute of California –
San Francisco, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Graphic Design.
Upon graduation she completed an
internship as Designer for NAIBT Commercial in San Francisco. She was then
selected to be Code
for America Fellow a non profit that helps American
city governments by developing reusable open source software. As a change
agent, she worked closely with the Boston Department of New Urban Mechanics to
research and develop applications to increase participation, transparency and
efficiency. She helped design, conceptualize and organize Discover BPS, Build Boston, and Where’s My School Bus among
other city logo redesigns. She also co-created Iconathon a partnership with The Noun Project to collaboratively create a civic symbol suite for
the public domain.
She joined faberNovel San Francisco in 2011 to design new applications, create User Interfaces and help in the effort to strengthen the growing PARISOMA brand.

After starting at faberNovel as part of an internship in summer 2008, he left to study for a BTS Visual Communication Multimedia, before returning to faberNovel in fall 2010 for a year's internship as part of a Bachelor's degree in websites design and redesign before being hired in September 2011.
Working with the creative team, he works directly with faberNovel's graphic designer, video designer and art director. He participates in the designing and realization of graphic needs for clients' projects and for internal or external communications.
He has been involved in redesigning faberNovel's website and in the graphic identity of BlueEyes BU.

Solène Maitre is a graduate of Supélec and from Heriot-Wat University (MSc in Energy), she is currently a Junior Project Designer at faberNovel.
Solène joined the Prototype Team in 2011 after a 6 month internship to reinforce the technical expertise of the team. She is working on innovative products and services. Solène is in charge of the projects related to data visualizations, from conception of the dataviz to the design. She contributes to the design of faberNovel’s Dataviz of the month.
So far, Solene has developed the Urban Mobs visualizations, implemented a couponing system and has been designing interactive complex user experiences. Solène is particularly familiar with the Open Data Movement, the Smart Grid, and mapping tools.

Franck graduated from IUT de Marne La Vallée with a Communication Networks and Services degree. Currently in
internship at faberNovel, he
postulates to integrate an Information and Communication degree.
Franck joined the communication team in April 2013. His role is to contribute to the production of content for different media such as the newsletter or the website as well as take care of their regular update and ensure the activity of social networks. He also participates in the development of these mediums.
Prior to faberNovel, Franck worked in a junior-agency specialized in digital communications for the cultural sector, Galerie6.

Sarah graduated from the University of Paris Dauphine in 2008 and also

Since 2012, Sarah is project analyst at faberNovel. She provides upstream strategic recommendations including benchmark study and business plan modelling. Lately, she did a benchmark study of the leading European online stores specialized in furniture to identify best practices and key success factors of the industry. She also did identification of business opportunities and business plan modelling for a leading player of the international diagnostics industry interested in launching an innovative laboratory management system.
Sarah combines various experience in M&A operations (Crédit Agricole) and investment funds (Strategic Investment Fund). In 2010, she co-founded MaSpatule.com a site selling kitchen utensils, as Head of Supply and Logistics activity.

Caroline Pandraud graduated from the ESSEC Business School, where she specialized in Media & Entertainment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Management.
Following a marketing role at Gallimard Jeunesse, Caroline worked on the design of innovative audiovisual services at TF1’s Head of Innovation, and then at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment in London. She joined faberNovel in 2011.

Amélie studied at CELSA La Sorbonne where she specialized in digital and public communication strategies.
After a first position at Groupe Zannier, leader of French children’s clothing, in the communication and PR department, she joined Terra Nova, a political Think Tank. She was in charge of the communication and events management, and in addition, she implemented a training project destined to elected representatives.

Julien graduated from Rouen Business School in France and did an exchange semester in the University of Ottawa, Canada.
Before joining faberNovel, Julien worked for Goldman Sachs in London as an Operations Analyst with the repurchase agreements team. He then joined AKOYA Consulting, a consultancy specializing in intangible assets and studied the impact of public policies on french creative industries. Finally, Julien participated in the development of the startup Scalr as business developer in San Francisco.
He joined faberNovel in February 2013 in the Reach department. He carries out immersion projects for large corporate and institutional customers to anticipate and understand the changes in their strategic environment and develop innovation strategies to face them. Julien participated in the organization of the Berlin Open Innovation Tour for Edenred. For the SNCF, he designs the D++ sessions dedicated to the Internet of Things and news forms of customer relationships.

Nuno holds a Degree in Economics at Portuguese Catholic University, where he also completed an Executive Master of Business Technology Management and a Post-Graduate on Media & Entertainment Management. He is the author of the book Managing in The Digital Era (2011).
Between 1997 and 2002, he was consultant to the Secretary of State for Media for digital media.
He has successfully managed many digital Media businesses, as Head of Multimedia Business in two of Portugual's biggest media groups: Cofina Media (1999- 2008) and Controlinveste (2008-2012). Currently he is Coordinator of the Post-Graduation of Digital Marketing and Social Media at ISLA Campus Lisboa - Laureate International Universities.

Sandra began her career as a journalist in radio and television. After 7 years in media, she became interested in digital communication and in 1998 launched the startup Absolut System. Two years later Ogilvy acquired this digital agency, and for four years she was Client Service Director at Ogilvy Interactive and OgilvyOne.
In 2005, she joined the new agency MSTF Partners that became one of the largest Portuguese advertising agencies. After a brief stint at Grey Group in 2008, she held the position of Director of Integrated Communications at Strat until 2010.
Holding a Masters in Marketing and Professor of Relationship Marketing and Interactive at the Portuguese Catholic University, she is passionate about the impact of new technologies in human behavior, which has pushed her to study Psychology at the University of Paris VIII.

a Master degree in « Digital Creation and Publishing ».

She
produces
graphic
realizations
to adress
the client’s
needs
and conceive
faberNovel's internal
communication visuals.
Cassandra works on client projects on two levels, she contributes to the creation of graphic content, skins and visual identities, and she is also involved in video editing. She participated in several projects, including a video for Suez Environnement.
Before joining faberNovel, Cassandra worked for Textuel La Mine as Assistant Art Director.

Raphaëlle Toledano graduated from the ESSEC Business School, where she specialized in Media & Entertainment.
After a first experience in the Deezer audience monetization team in 2008, she worked at Orange as a marketing analyst on catch-up TV and VOD services. Then, she left for London where she joined the Dailymotion international content team.
Raphaelle is part of the Analyze team, and works on strategic recommandations during launch phase of projects, on the design of services and their monetization.

Antonin holds a degree of the Master in Public Policies and Compared Governments of IEP Lyon. He also holds a degree of the Master in Sociology of Public Action from the Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech and Université Paris VIII.
In June 2012, Antonin joins faberNovel to bring its convictions and vision about innovative ecosystems. He is especially interested with the changes induced by digital inside large organizations and companies, in innovative clusters and also with ecosystems dynamics and open innovation processes.
Before joining the team, Antonin had an experience
at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, Antonin joins in 2007 the
start-up association Silicon Sentier. During 4 years, he contributed to
the definition of the strategic orientations of the association while actively
taking part in its daily development. In
2011, he joins Microsoft
France. He is in charge of handling relations with the academic world and
launches the tenth edition of ImagineCup, a student program to create
start-ups.

Leila graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Sciences and holds a Masters degree in international relations from Columbia University in New York.

Morgane joined faberNovel in March 2013 as a Junior Office Manager. She assists the Senior office manager with administrative tasks, HR, accounting and logistics. Her main tasks are the management of customer billing, the planification of business trips, and the organization of internal events.
Before joining faberNovel she worked at the sales department of the Pages Jaunes group. She also worked in the fields of finance, tourisme and insurance, including a two years experience at FM Global, an international insurance company.
