Stéphane Distinguin graduated from ESCP Europe in 1997 and joined Deloitte & Touche. In 1999 he participated in the creation of Up&Up, an early stage investment fund. In 2003, he created faberNovel.



Clement Alteresco holds a Master's in Innovation Management from PARIS IX DAUPHINE University
Clément was faberNovel’s first employee in 2003 and he cofounded Digitick in 2004. He became COO and partner of faberNovel in 2006, and since 2009, he has been leading faberNovel’s activities in San Francisco.
He launched pariSoma, one of San Francisco’s first co-working spaces, as well as www.shareyouroffice.com. He also developed faberNovel’s activities in the Valley.
Clément comes from an international culture, (he speaks French, English and Spanish) and is entrepreneur minded. He is particularly interested in the influence of technology on the future of work.

Paul has a diploma from Supélec, and is a team-building manager. He is also in charge of supporting large companies on innovative projects, such as those that include prototyping.
Two of the key projects Paul has led are the AlloCyclo, which provides technology support for the product “Public Bicycle Service” for TRANSDEV, and Autolib, which lends strategic support and project management assistance to the bid of the consortium RATP-SNCF-AVIS-VINCI. Paul also works on projects for SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and LYONNAISE DES EAUX to better manage the consumption of utilities.
Paul is also a co-founder and treasurer for "Clean Tuesday”, an association that brings together the people involved in clean or green technologies for monthly meetings.

Sabrina has a European Jurist degree from Paris XII University and a Master’s in European Business from ESCP Europe. She spent five years working for the Buongiorno Group in London, then in Paris. During her time there, she worked as Business Development Manager, Production Director and Marketing Director France and MENA, designing and managing services for major Telcos in France (Orange France, SFR), Switzerland (Swisscom) and Morocco (Maroc Telecom).
She spent another year at Novedia Group where, as Strategic Marketing Manager, she was in charge of developing new mobile service offers. Finally, she joined faberNovel’s team in February 2008 to occupy the company’s first Marketing & Communications position.
Now, as Company Secretary she also deals with Legal issues and Human Capital management.

Marie-Caroline holds an MSc from Imperial College of London and Supélec, and is now a Partner at faberNovel.
For 6 years, she was responsible for marketing, launching and piloting innovative projects and internal and external research efforts, and implementing strategic management for growth. She contributed to the filing of several patents. Her main research topics are mobility, culture and digital services.
Marie Caroline is a Board Member for Applidium - a subsidiary responsible for developing and publishing mobile applications. She is also on the Board of Silicon Sentier- the association behind projects such as La Cantine (the first collaborative coworking space) and Le Camping (a startup accelerator). Marie Caroline is a volunteer Mentor for Le Camping.

Pierre-Yves gained initial experience in the seed capital sector and the consulting industry at Roland Berger, before joining faberNovel in 2005 to set up its strategic and organizational branch.
In 2007, Pierre-Yves founded the French Chapter of Social Media Club - an international think-tank dedicated to the social media industry, which now has over 200 professionals in France as its members.
In 2009, Pierre-Yves co-founded PINk, faberNovel’s private equity firm, of which he is currently the CEO.
Pierre-Yves is also the Co-founder and Managing Editor of Sarellinet, a professional newsletter dedicated to the online media and communication industry.
Pierre-Yves graduated from HEC Paris with a major in Strategic Management.

Benoit graduated from the Saint Luc Institute in Brussels with an Applied Arts degree (highest distinction) in 1997. He was also awarded a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (with honors) from the University of Paris VIII in 2000 and a Diploma in Information Communication, advertising option from IUT René Descartes Paris VII. Benoit began his career as a graphic designer / freelance illustrator in 1998 at the Maison des Artistes.
he joined faberNovel in 2003 as Artistic Director. He oversees the creative team - designers, and videographers - and is responsible for sourcing creative providers in the "visual" field.
He is also responsible for the final minutes of client projects, like the multi award-winning digital experience Monet 2010. He controlled and constructed the identity of all internal and excubation projects of faberNovel like Parisoma, Agoroom, af83, Barcamp etc.

Cyril Vart, a technology enthusiast, started his career in 1982, developing databases in the video game industry. He then specialized in product management and marketing, and worked with companies such as Evolution France, IBM, and Lotus Development. In 1994, he was hired as Senior Product Director by Lotus Development Corp (Boston, MA) and then in 1996, AltaVista Search made him its Marketing Director. Afterwards, he joined Ziff Davies Inc until he returned to France in 1999 to become the Wanadoo Portal’s VP of Strategy and Marketing.
Before joining faberNovel in June 2008, he spent four years as the VP of Development in EMAP Pic., a leading consumer magazine publisher. At faberNovel, he is both a Partner and VP of Strategy and Development. Thus, he is in charge of faberNovel’s corporate development and strategy, and is responsible for managing strategic consulting projects including business analysis and planning, strategic marketing, corporate planning etc.

Baptiste Benezet joined faberNovel in late 2009 with two tasks: to structure Mobile app publishing activity and to perform R&D project management.
The mobile app business was transferred into Applidium, a subsidiary of faberNovel that Baptiste manages as CEO and Partner. In addition, Baptiste runs Products & Prototypes (P&P) business unit, which develops the technological activities of faberNovel. Their main area of research is corporate life and its associated tools.
Before this, Baptiste worked as a product manager for Baracoda, and was in charge of user-oriented services and products built from audio and radio platforms (wifi internet radio, web & mobile apps).
Baptiste is a graduate from Supélec and Georgia Tech (Atlanta).



After some consulting experience for a start-up and a year working freelance, she built up experience in the new forms of mobility and communications. Elodie joined faberNovel in January 2010 as a designer.
She identifies user needs, spots potential new uses, and designs Services. Her main role is to monitor the coherence of the user experience, while formalizing it. She has a user centric approach, which she applies to all her projects, whatever the industry, and she grounds her work on a methodology which combines field observations, creativity and formalization phases. At faberNovel, Elodie works on projects like Autolib’ and on numerous innovation projects for big companies (Essilor, Cortal), national companies (Railtime, france télévisions) and international companies (CoVision). Elodie is also head of the creative team at faberNovel.

Mathilde holds a Master in Management degree from ESCP Europe, where she majored in Innovation Marketing & Management. Her arts background also allowed her to be admitted to the Paris Ecole normale supérieure, where she studied geography and geopolitics.
After an internship at the Caisse des Dépôts Head Management Office, Mathilde worked on researching and developing diplomatic cables, organizing French officials’ visits and improving web communication for the French Embassy in Lebanon. At faberNovel, she started out writing for and marketing digitalTrends ; Mathilde also helped launch faberNovel’s blog and designing faberNovel’s presence as a patron of TEDxParis 2011.
A member of the sales team since September 2011, Mathilde participates in pre-sales relations and ensures projects kick off well.






Amélie holds a Management degree, and has 10 years' Assistant experience.
She started in the Human Resources Department of a construction company before spending two years at the JCDecaux Group in London (Marketing / Events) and Paris (DG Trade & Marketing).
She the managed a dozen apartments for My Flat in Paris before becoming a Management Assistant at Atlantic Intelligence; finally, she worked as a Client Project Officer at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
She joined faberNovel in September 2007 to watch over the team and work environment.

Maxime Coupez graduated from Ecole des Mines de Paris.
As an intern, he worked in a Saint-Gobain ceramics factory in Beijing. He then worked as a market strategy analyst for Sotheby’s, and was involved in the launch of FID, an innovative annual contemporary art fair.
In 2009, he joined faberNovel to participate in the launch of digitalTrends, a B2B business intelligence service dedicated to high-level managers willing to develop their activity on the web and mobile devices. He was the editorial director of digitalTrends until 2011, when he joined the “Prototype department”.
He now works as a Project Manager, mainly on projects involving the design and development of new services in the domains of transportation, B2B services, entertainment and sports.

John Geraci is an entrepreneur and innovator who has spent the last eight years making cities better with web technologies.
He attended NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program from 2003-2005 with an honorary fellowship. While there, he created and launched several projects which gained international attention and use. In 2006 he co-founded Outside.in, a leading hyperlocal news site which was acquired by AOL in 2011. In 2008, he created DIYcity.org, which became a hub of global conversation about reinventing cities with technology, and was a finalist for the 2011 Future Everything Award.
Geraci has been a featured speaker at O'Reilly Where 2.0, TTLY Vanguard, Princeton University's Summit on Civic Technology, TEDxBigApple, and others. He has blogged for O'Reilly Radar, Huffington Post, and Urban Omnibus. His work has been featured in Wired, The New York Times, The Washington Post and numerous other leading publications.



Elise is a Management & Marketing graduate, and her first job was as management Assistant for a group of companies in a business center in Jouy en Josas.
Elise has recently joined faberNovel’s team to assist the Office Manager in her different Administrative, Human Ressources, Accounting & Logistics tasks.
Elise also deals with the definition of the company’s needs and proposes solutions to improve the work quality and environment.



Nathalie Girard is a graduate of the Cnam in Paris (Arts and Works National Conservatory of Paris). She holds a Specialized Masters in International Projects Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration from the Administration of Companies Institute.
After six years of commercial experience and two roles in strategy,
she came to faberNovel in 2009 and was made responsible for:
- internal coordination and process,
- faberNovel federation follow-up
- coordinate
collaborative research and development projects and financial organisms relationship
management. In particular, she coordinates ENCRE,
a project involving twelve companies all coming from different activities.
She also teaches Projects and International Marketing at the Cnam in Paris.

Morgan holds a BTS (higher education technical diploma) in audiovisual arts and specializes in editing and postproduction. He also masters the entire audiovisual production chain (shooting, capturing, editing of video and audio footage, compositing, effects, encoding and authoring).
In 2008, he released the DVD Komball "the game", after which he became a director at the local web TV station QNTV, before joining faberNovel in December 2009. Since then, he has produced various audiovisual creations in diverse and innovative styles, to match the nature of the projects that have been entrusted to him.

Adrien served as a consultant at Wcube in a leading French web agency 1998. In 2000 he founded People-to-People Technologies, a pioneer in online social networking built in partnership with a Russian software developer. The company has since been rebranded as Etyssa. For the past two years Adrien has been Senior investment manager at Direct Group, a Moscow-based Western investment company, where he contributed to the development of leading Russian websites.
Since late 2010, he has been developing faberNovel's activity in Russia. He is also a co-founder of East-West Digital News, the first international information resource dedicated to Russian IT.
Adrien is a distinguished graduate of the Paris Institute for Political Sciences. He speaks English and Russian almost as well as his native French

Hélène graduated from the Paris Sciences-Po ENS Ulm and ENA schools, before starting her career as a civil servant for the French government.
Her passion for innovation and media led her career in a different direction. She was appointed Strategy & Development Manager at Europolitic (Brussels), before joining Bayard-Press (Brussels) as Policy Officer for the European Managing Director.
In 2009, Hélène joined faberNovel as a Senior Project Analyst. She became General Secretary in 2011.

Arnaud Joubay graduated from Supélec with a major in Computer Science. After working for 2 and a half years as a financial auditor at Mazars on projects for major companies in the industry, banking and insurance sectors, he joined faberNovel in 2007 in the role of Chief Financial Officer, for faberNovel and its subsidiaries.
Since 2009, he has kept some of his financial and administrative duties from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where he set up a partnership with a local start-up, that he supports while being involved in web and mobile projects. With this start-up he co-funded the first Mobile Dev Camp, a free, annual event for mobile developers in Vietnam, which aims at fostering innovation and growing the Mobile Dev community. A third camp is due to be held in fall 2011.

Guillaume Ladvie graduated from CELSA La Sorbonne where he specialized in digital communication strategies.
After a first position as an editor and community manager for the music streaming website JIWA, Guillaume joined Happy Fannie, a web production company, where he worked as a community manager and junior experience designer on a transmedia project and an ARG. Then he joined faberNovel for a graduate internship as assistant communications manager, before being hired in September 2011.
He is in charge of community management, PR, partnerships and events. In addition, he is involved in various customer projects concerning communication issues.

Matthieu has been responsible for managing and launching digital services projects for four years. Matthieu is also in charge of faberNovel's studies (Facebook, Google, Twitter, Apple et Amazon). His expertise covers strategic marketing, NPD and business modeling.

Axel Le Pennec graduated from Ecole des Mines in Saint-Etienne.
He worked as an intern for four months in the mechanical department of AREVA NP in Germany. As a student at the Ecole des Mines, he enrolled in Industrial Design and Engineering and specialized in Innovative Project Management.
He joined faberNovel in March 2011 within the « Analyze » department. He supported international companies in the definition of their online strategy and worked in various domains such as medias, social networks, e-commerce and the Amazon public study. He was also responsible for publishing articles on faberNovel’s blog related to innovation, new technologies, web and entrepreneurship. Since October 2011, he has been working as a Junior Project Manager. He assists project managers in the design and development of innovative projects and services, from idea to market.

Clément Léocadie is a graduate of ENS Cachan, a prestigious public institution of higher education and research, one of the major French Grandes Ecoles. He studied there in the Electrics, Electrical Engineering and Automatic Department and was awarded the Magistère EEA. He finished his studies with a Master's in Innovative Project Management from the Ecole Polytechnique (Master's PIC, co-managed by the Ecole Polytechnique, the Mines de Paris and HEC school).
He completed a two-year intership as Junior Project Designer at faberNovel before joining the team in September 2010 as Product Manager to develop the BlueEyes product, an interactive mapping solution. He contributed to several patents on this project.
Clément is Co-founder of the CleanTuesday association and member of the Y4PT (Youth For Public Transportation) association.

After starting at faberNovel as part of an internship in summer 2008, he left to study for a BTS Visual Communication Multimedia, before returning to faberNovel in fall 2010 for a year's internship as part of a Bachelor's degree in websites design and redesign before being hired in September 2011.
Working with the creative team, he works directly with faberNovel's graphic designer, video designer and art director. He participates in the designing and realization of graphic needs for clients' projects and for internal or external communications.
He has been involved in redesigning faberNovel's website and in the graphic identity of BlueEyes BU.

Solène Maitre is a graduate of Supélec and from Heriot-Wat University (MSc in Energy), she is currently a Junior Project Designer at faberNovel.
Solène joined the Prototype Team in 2011 after a 6 month internship to reinforce the technical expertise of the team. She is working on innovative products and services. Solène is in charge of the projects related to data visualizations, from conception of the dataviz to the design. She contributes to the design of faberNovel’s Dataviz of the month.
So far, Solene has developed the Urban Mobs visualizations, implemented a couponing system and has been designing interactive complex user experiences. Solène is particularly familiar with the Open Data Movement, the Smart Grid, and mapping tools.

Arnaud
Mombrial holds a BTS (Two-Year Technical Degree) in Local Network Administration for Companies, and is studying for a Bachelor's degree in IT from the CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts and Craft. Arnaud is fascinated by
the FOSS Ecosystem and spent four years
as a support technician on OpenSource Appliances. He then wanted to see the job from the other side, and became a network
administrator within the Group Première Heure, before joining faberNovel in
2007.

Mathilde Natier graduated from the ESSEC Business School.
After a marketing role at Paramount Home Entertainment she worked for Google Paris as a media market analyst. She then joined Google Dublin to manage internal projects. She is also an experienced Business Development Manager.
Mathilde is part of the "Analyze" team at faberNovel, and works on strategic recommendations during the launch phase of projects and on the design of services and their monetization. Thanks to her experience in project management she also works on bringing projects to completion until the product or service goes on the market.
She has worked on projects in the following sectors: media & Entertainment, retail, transportation, health and beauty and on the Amazon public study.

Romain Nervil is a graduate of Supélec, one of the major French Grandes Ecoles. He graduated in 2008 with a Master's of Science in Engineering.
After graduation he completed a one-year internship as Analyst for Atelier BNP Paribas in San Francisco, as expert in NTIC and Innovation strategy. In 2010 he worked at the technology consulting firm Alten, where he was in charge of streamlining processes and optimizing debt collection.
Then he joined the pariSoma Innovation Loft in San Francisco, as an intern Project Manager before joining faberNovel Inc. in 2011 as Project Manager. He oversees the development and refinement of the Turnstone iPad catalog and space planner and manages a remote team of developers and designers. He is also in charge of streamlining processes and growing the events activity at the pariSoma Innovation Loft.

Fabien Obadia, 37, had been a salesman at heart long before studying IT engineering at ESME Sudria in Paris. After graduation, he joined 4D, a database management company, as a consultant in after sales. His next job was at CAST, XXX company, where he successfully occupied the posts of

· Manager for Swiss and French banking products
He joined Thomson Reuters as head of Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions for designated areas of Europe. In 2008, he headed up the VIveo division for worldwide sales in the Core Banking sector.
With a proven track record on an international level, technical training and his extensive knowledge of commercial approaches, Fabien develops faberNovel's business with his team presently in Paris, San Francisco, New York and Moscow.



Caroline Pandraud graduated from the ESSEC Business School, where she specialized in Media & Entertainment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Management.
Following a marketing role at Gallimard Jeunesse, Caroline worked on the design of innovative audiovisual services at TF1’s Head of Innovation, and then at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment in London. She joined faberNovel in 2011.
Caroline is part of the Analyze team, and works on strategic recommendations during launch phase of projects, on the design of services and their monetization.
She has worked on projects in the following fields: open innovation, cosmetics, social and e-commerce, art and culture, media and entertainment.

Rémi Rousseau graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) in 2007 and was awarded a master's in innovation management and design the following year.
He worked at Lagardere and also with Virgin and Hachette on new offers for digital music and books.
He joined faberNovel in 2008 as strategic marketing Manager. He is an expert on new interfaces, sustainable transportation and digital health.

Estelle Specque holds a BTS in visual communication and of a Bachelor's degree in multimedia, She joined faberNovel in April, 2008 for 6 month training course, then completed one year of training in e-artsup before being hired.
She produces templates for faberNovel's clients' websites (LEROY MERLIN, VILOGIA), participates in internal and external communication, works in association with the video team: artistic direction and creation of pictures (SUEZ-ENVIRONMENT, SFR); as well as with the "analyze" team for consulting missions (L’ORÉAL, CANAL+…).
She also contributed heavily to the design
of mobile applications (RATP, iDTGV, VOLKSWAGEN) before becoming involved in this activity at Applidium by faberNovel.

Leila graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Sciences and holds a Masters degree in international relations from Columbia University in New York.



Amber Wolf is a founding member and community manager of Security B-Sides, a volunteer driven organization that puts on information security unconferences globally. She is also the primary organizer for the annual Security B-Sides San Francisco event, which quadrupled in size from year one to year two.
She is the photographer for and sole proprietor of Wiz Bang Photography where she uses her camera to capture the personality of her clients.
She joined the team in May 2011 to manage pariSoma. Amber is in charge of managing the membership and day-to-day business of our flagship coworking space, of community management and community building. The work she is doing at pariSoma has exposed her to another instance of community making a massive impact on the lives of its members.
